An Ayurveda-inspired resort in El Pla de Manlleu, set apart from the rest of the world. India is present throughout the place: in the decor, in the therapy and massage rooms, in the food. But the first thing you feel on arrival isn't the theme, it's the silence. The birdsong, the frogs, the wind through the trees. Torres de Selma is a place of retreat, made for those looking to be alone with their thoughts, far from everything. A place where disconnection isn't promised. It simply happens.

The Film

I filmed this project to convey one thing: the disconnection the place imposes. Not only its spaces, but its sounds, its rhythm, its calm. A slow, unhurried narrative, meant to be felt before it's seen.
