How I Work

Every project starts before the first image is taken

Working with Domum is not about hiring someone to take photographs or produce a video.

It is about defining how a space should be seen, understood and communicated.

This process is designed to bring clarity, control and consistency from the very first conversation to the final delivery.

01 Understanding the project

The first step is always a conversation.

Before proposing any solution, I take the time to understand the property and its context:

its scale, layout, location, architectural features and the purpose the images or video will serve.

Whether the project requires photography, video or a combination of both, every decision starts from a clear understanding of the space and its final use.

02 Defining the right approach

Not all projects require the same solution.

Based on the information shared, I propose either a structured package or a tailored approach, depending on the needs, the type of property and the communication goals behind it.

At this stage, the focus is not on producing more content, but on defining the right visual strategy for the project.

03 Production day

The shooting day is about control, timing and reading the space.

Light, rhythm and perspective are carefully considered to ensure the property is represented in a way that feels natural, balanced and coherent with its identity.

The goal is not to document every corner, but to build a clear and intentional visual narrative.

04 Editing and curation

Post-production is where the project takes its final shape.

Images and footage are carefully selected, edited and refined to ensure consistency, clarity and visual impact.

Only the material that truly supports the narrative of the space is delivered.

This phase is as important as the shoot itself.

05 Review and delivery

Once the work is complete, the material is shared for review.

The final delivery is designed to be clear, organized and ready to be used across professional platforms, marketing channels or presentations, depending on the project’s needs.

The process ends only when the visual language of the space feels complete and aligned with its purpose.

If this way of working aligns with your project, you’re welcome to get in touch.
